A Peaceful Getaway
The Cottage
Bodney Park Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage with glorious views out beyond the enclosed garden over the parkland. The large kitchen/dining room is flooded with natural light through the lantern roof and has French doors which open out onto the terrace where is outdoor seating, a barbeque and a wood-fired hot-tub. The cottage is also lovely in winter, with under-floor heating and a cosy sitting room which is centred around a log burner. The bathroom, which has a bath/shower, is supplied with luxurious toiletries.
The Garden
The garden is fully-enclosed and overlooks the surrounding parkland, home to our friendly flock of Herdwick sheep. After an al fresco lunch underneath the horse chestnut tree on the terrace, why not read a book in the hammock in summer months, or watch the stars from the wood-fired hot tub?
The Grounds
The grounds at Bodney make it rather hard to leave, thanks to its complete immersion in nature. Depending on the season, woodland walks are filled with snowdrops or bluebells, guests are able to fish on the River Wissey, one of the region's treasured chalk streams, or enjoy a refreshing dip in the lake which is accessible by a pontoon.

The Garden Room
The garden room has a super king bed and French doors that open out into the enclosed garden which has views out over the parkland, as well as some very friendly sheep!
The Nook
This sweet little bedroom has a small double bed.
